The Thread is a piece created for the Mail art Hyperallergic's project. The box was sent by mail in an aluminum envelope including 2 instructional papers. A first one is if you decide to follow the thread and a second one is if you decide not to follow the thread. The idea is about choice and the effect of it on the object of art. By choosing to follow the thread, you interact directly with the work of the artist, allowing you to destroy it and make it a new visual perception. If you decide not to follow the thread, you will conserve the object as it was last seen by the artist and you will never know what is inside the box.
