Statement

After few years focusing on art installations, I’ve decided to come back to paintings. As I grow slowly this picturesque body of work, I have found a visual signature by layering accidental textured paints, with more thoughtful accents of oil sticks, over the canvas. The various landscapes illustrates abstract interpretation of nature, such as clouds, mountains or architectural details. The aesthetic language uses lines, cloudy effects and dark colors animated by subtle string of hues underneath the upper layer. The interpretation is left to the viewer who will determinate a meaning of the rendered pictorial images.
